Discussion » Mandatory Reading Group Scheduling To assist students with their first-year literature requirements, the university will be instating a mandatory one-credit class called “Reading Group.” In it, you will meet with six of your peers once a week for one hour to discuss the topics of your introductory literature class. These groups will allow new students to succeed in these often difficult courses. In addition, it will provide an easy way to get to know other literature majors as soon as classes start.
